Setting up a Credit Account-
If you have a customer who wishes to apply for a credit facility with us, please direct them to the ‘Open a Trade Account’ section at the bottom of the website (or send them the link via email if more convenient).
Once the customer has filled in these details an account will be registered on CMS for them (as if they were a pre-pay customer registering on the site). The form the customer has filled in will automatically be sent to Ro/Catherine to review and if applicable set up a LN Business ID on LN. Ro/Gordon will notify us of the LN Business ID and credit limit (at present Catherine is approving the accounts on CMS for TD). *Ro has requested that the LN BP number be added to the customers details as a final step when setting up.
To activate the account, you will need to add the LN business I.D, the credit limit and check the box that states ‘Allow Payment on Account’ – hit update at the bottom of the screen to save the changes.
Processing a PO on a Credit Account -
When you receive a purchase order from a credit account customer please check with Ro that the order is ok to process. Change the ticket 'type' to 'PO a/w BP Number & Approval' and once Ro reviews the ticket she will confirm if ok to proceed with and the LN Business ID it needs to be placed under.
The PO must be made out to Kingspan and not Tanks Direct. The correct company details can be found attached to this how-to under 'Company Details'.
When placing a new order (once Ro has approved your PO and advised of the business partner it needs to placed under) simply copy the I.D, go to ‘create New Order’ and paste the I.D in to the ‘Existing Account Field’
If you’re ever in any doubt as to which account on CMS the order should be placed on (as some customers do have multiple registered accounts on CMS), you can easily check by clicking ‘Account’ in the customers profile and you will see the LN Business Partner Field with an I.D in it.
Create the order via CMS as you would with any other order however you will need to add a PO number to the 'Custom Fields' section. A credit account order must include a PO number from the customer to enable us to secure payment for the invoice.
Once all fields have been completed and you get to the payment stage, choose 'Manual Payment' and then 'Credit Account' add the PO reference in to the 'Your Reference' field. The order will now go through to your Sales Order Intake Workbench on LN to process.
